Focus MEP secures role on NHS Minor Works & Refurbishment Framework

Focus MEP is excited to announce its successful inclusion in the Minor Works & Refurbishment Framework for Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB). The company has been awarded contracts for two significant lots, concentrating on mechanical and electrical (M&E) installations and comprehensive building services.

ABUHB, responsible for managing 85 properties across Gwent, faces unique challenges with its diverse portfolio which includes historic buildings predating 1900 and a modern critical care hospital. The operation and maintenance of these facilities are crucial for the health board’s functioning.

As part of this new role, Focus MEP will work in close collaboration with ABUHB, ensuring that the health board’s specific needs are met efficiently. The collaboration aims to enhance the quality of facilities for patients and provide a safe, effective working environment for staff.

“We are thrilled to bring our expertise to such critical services and look forward to making a positive impact in the community. The opportunity to enhance the operational efficiency and safety of healthcare facilities is incredibly rewarding,” said Grant Clatworthy, Operations Manager Focus MEP.

This partnership marks a significant step for Focus MEP in supporting healthcare services by utilising their specialised skills in mechanical, electrical, and public health engineering.
